If you already have a domain, then you can enter it in domain field during VPS signup. It won't affect your current domain DNS settings.
If you do not have domain name, you can enter anything in domain field. We need domain name just for our reference and to give a unique name to your VPS in our billing system. You can also refer to our KB on how to place an order for VPS.
