This article will provide you the step by step guidance on how to restore MySQL database through phpMyAdmin.

  1. Login to phpMyAdmin.

  2. Select your database by clicking on database name e.g. demoword_demoDB.

  3. Click on 'Import'.

    Select Your Database and Click on Import

  4. Click on 'Choose File' and locate the database backup file resides on your local computer.

  5. Make sure that 'SQL' is selected in Format dropdown menu.

    Browse the Backup Database File to Import

  6. Click on 'Go'.
