You may need to restart MySQL services from Services on Windows server. While restarting service, you may receive error 1503. Due to this error, it does not restart the service properly.

How to resolve this problem:

  1. Open the Task Manager.
  2. Find MySQL process (generally it is named as mysqld.exe or mysqld-nt.exe).
  3. Right click on MySQL process and click on End process tree.
  4. Now go to Services and start the MySQL service.
