Follow the below mentioned steps to create Certificate signing request from IIS 7.5 in your VPS: 

  1. Select your Webserver -> open Server Certificate -> click on Create Certificate Request from the Actions pane.
  2. Enter the information according to your need and click on Next.
    Note: Common name must be the same name of the domain or host on which you are going to implement the certificate.
  3. Select Cryptography Service Provider and bit length, click on Next.
  4. Save your request to a text file and send it to the Certificate Authority (CA) for issuing you a certificate.
  5. Click on Finish.
