An Instant alias is a temporary sub-domain in the form of customerdomain.com.your-domain.com. It allows us in accessing the websites during DNS propagation. Here are the steps to setup an Instant Alias from WebsitePanel:

  1. Login to WebsitePanel.

  2. Click on Configuration → Virtual Servers.

    Go to Virtual Servers Option from Configuration Menu

  3. Click on My Server Resources.

    Click on your Virtual Server Name

  4. Click on Instant Alias and enter your main domain after customerdomain.com.maindomain.com.

    Go to Instant Alias Option

  5. Click on Update button.

  6. Click on Configuration → Servers.

    Go to Servers Option from Configuration Menu

  7. Click on My Server.

    Click on your Server Name

  8. Click on Instant Alias and enter your main domain after customerdomain.com.maindomain.com.

    Set the Domain Name that you want to Set as an Instant Alias

  9. Click on Update button.
