Problem Statement


Session times out before session timeout value

In many case wherein, website/application sessions are timing out before set session timeout value. We can easily resolve such issues by enabling 32 Bit applications option from IIS.


Solution


  1. Open IIS manager.
  2. Locate the application Pool used by the website/application in question.

    Application Pool Advanced Settings

  3. Right click on the application pool name, Advanced Settings.
  4. Enable 32 Bit applications option to TRUE.
