Telnet Client allows you to connect to remote and local computers via Telnet protocol. Telnet Client is not installed by default on Windows Operating systems. Follow below mentioned steps to install Telnet Client in Windows.

Install Telnet Client on Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8

  1. Click Start and click on Control Panel.
  2. At Control Panel Home page, click on Programs.
  3. Under Programs and Features section, click on Turn Windows features on or off.
  4. In Windows Features list, select Telnet Client and click OK.

Install Telnet Client on CentOS 
# yum install telnet -y // For CentOS
