DirectAdmin is a hosting control panel for Linux server. Please perform the following steps to reset the admin password: 

  1. Login to DirectAdmin Hosting Control Panel [it should be accessible from http://IP_ADDRESS:2222].
  2. Click on Change Password link.
  3. Provide the following details:
    • Current Password
    • New Password
    • Re-type New Password
  4. Select the services for which you want to reset the password, such as FTP or Database [OPTIONAL].
  5. Click on Submit button.
